This collection features scholarly work by Ashley Boyd, assistant professor in the Department of English at Washington State University. Boyd earned her PhD in Education, MAT in English Education, and BA in English at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her research interests include issues related to social justice in the secondary English classroom; critical and new literacy studies; and cultural studies in education.
