    Abstract
Horses are roughage eaters, but more concentrated feeds may be required for energy demands. Find out what part minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients play in horse nutrition. Charts include requirements for foals, racing horses, and lactating mares for such feeds as hay, straw, meals, milk, chaff, and grass. 8 pages.
