This collection features research and educational materials by Carmen R. Lugo-Lugo, faculty member in the Department of Critical Culture, Gender, and Race Studies at Washington State University. As a professor, Lugo-Lugo uses literature, history, sociology, ethnic studies, and popular culture to teach about issues of race and structural inequalities. On a broad level, she teaches about the relationship between social markers and identities (such as gender, race, class, sexuality, etc.), privilege, power, and the resulting unequal distribution of resources.
