dc.description.abstractThis report covers activities by the Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance (NARA) from August 2011-March 2013, covering its organizational structure, key partnerships, and strategic goals. The report includes updates on the NARA's initiatives in education, conversion, feedstocks, sustainability measurement, and outreach. It addresses five goals held by the Alliance: Sustainable biojet, value-added polymer and carbon products from lignin, rural economic development, supply chain coalitions, and bioenergy literacy.
